The Three Diamonds of Mitsubishi Have Never Looked so Good

When we here at Hickory Mitsubishi first caught wind of the fact that the company had a new model to announce we could not have been more excited. After all, the latest new Mitsubishi to go into production is a real game changer, and one that many drivers in the greater Hickory are and beyond can't wait to finance or lease. We, of course, are talking about the all-new 2012 Mitsubishi i electric vehicle.

So what does the Japanese automaker have planned next? Unfortunately, we're not entirely sure. Thus far, the company has only released a teaser image that outlines the vehicle's front end. But that has certainly not stopped us from feasting our eyes, discerning everything we can, and drawing our own conclusions accordingly.

The first thing to note about the teaser image for the unnamed Mitsubishi is that it features a front end with thick, curvy lines that flow naturally with the iconic three-diamond Mitsubishi logo. To us, this minimalist grille would serve as a perfect accent to a sedan or even compact vehicle. And Mitsubishi has hinted at a plug-in hybrid follow up to the all-electric i. So if you were to ask us what we think, we'd say it's likely just that. Of course, in the end, we'll simply have to wait for the company's big reveal at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

But what about you? We want to know what your guess is. Feel free to leave us a comment, outlining what vehicle you think the new front end would be most suited for.
